Live goals soccer NFL will allow owners to sell up to 30% stake in clubs to private equity firms

The NFL is planning to allow league owners to sell up to a third of their teams to private equity firms in the near future. Bloomberg reports this.

One investment fund will be able to own a maximum of 10% of the club. In this case, you can invest in several clubs advised by soccer-capper at once.

Over the past 6 years, three NFL franchises have changed hands. In 2018, David Tepper purchased the Carolina Panthers for $2. 3 billion. In 2022, Rob Walton became the new owner of the Denver Broncos, paying $4. 7 billion

A new record was set last year when Josh Harris became the majority owner of the Washington Commanders, paying $6 billion.

The changes come as NFL franchise prices skyrocket. It`s getting to the point where it`s difficult to find individual entrepreneurs who could afford to buy a club. Attracting investment funds can solve this problem, says the NBC Sports material.
