A legend of Real took over Oviedo

The legend of Real Madrid, Fernando Hierro, is back in the coaching profession after it was declared he will be officially monitoring the Spanish Real Oviedo.
His contract is for next season with an option for one more. The last time the former captain of the capital was an assistant to Carlo Ancelotti in the Royal Club, but for the first time will bear full responsibility in one team.
`The project of Oviedo inspired me so much. This is a club by handball tip with great traditions, which long time was a part of the elite and hope that it will help him to get back there.`, commented Hierro.
Oviedo finished on the 9th place in the second division last season, having failed to qualify for the playoffs after finishing the campaign with four straight defeats and that left him 5 points away from the sixth position.
The team for the last played among the best Spanish teams during the 2000-2001 season, after which he had financial problems and came all the way to the fourth level of football, before returning to Segunda after a 13-year absence in 2015.
