Barcelona lost the derby with Real Madrid over the weekend with 1:2. The loss was the first for the Catalans since October month till now, but it is not fatal for them in the battle for the title. Barcelona continues to lead in La Liga, but the defeat comes at a bad time, just before the first quarter-final with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Not coincidentally, Luis Enrique immediately tried to lift the morale of their boys and said that the match with Real Madrid for it does not exist. Gerard Pique, who scored goals against the `White Ballet` and missed the second leg of the 1/8 finals in the Champions League is back in the team of the Catalans and has teamed up with Javier Mascherano in defense. Because of injuries, Jeremy Mathieu, Sandro Ramirez and Adriano Korea dropped out. Luis Enrique will bet on the trio Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta. In the attack, the trio Leo Messi - Neymar and Luis Suarez is without an alternative.
Atletico Madrid won with 5:1 against Betis in the Primera Division over the weekend. So the team is just 6 points away from Barcelona at the battle in the Championship of Spain. In the Champions League but Atletico Madrid did not score a goal for 245 goals minutes as Diego Simeone`s boys sidelined PSV Eindhoven after two draws and zero success after the penalty shootout. Before the visit to the Camp Nou in the camp, there are some problems in central defence. The holders Diego Godin and Jose Maria Jimenez are with light injuries and would come out of injections against Barcelona. In attack, Diego Simeone will bet on Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres, who will try to fast counterattacks to score a big goal to stay in European football.
Barcelona won every one of the last 6 games from soccer livescore in all tournaments against Atletico Madrid. Despite the defeat by Real Madrid, the Catalans will rise and will take the lead before the second leg at Vicente Calderon, which will be played next week.
