The placed under No11 in the scheme of Wimbledon Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the third round at the Grand Slam tournament in London. The best tennis player of Bulgaria beat the American Steve Johnson with 7:6 (8), 6:2, 7:6 (2) after 2 hours and 11 minutes.
After the disputed first part Dimitrov saved two setballs in the tiebreak before he managed to close it.
The semi-finalists from last year Grigor picked up the pace and lead by 4:1 after two breaks to take relatively quickly the second part.
