Thomaz Bellucci won the first edition of the tournament Geneva Open, defeating Joao Sousa in the final with 7:6 (4), 6:4. For the Brazilian Bellucci it was generally the fourth ATP title and the first of his triumph in Gstaad in the summer of 2012.
Switzerland has proved a favorite destination for Bellucci, who has won 3 of the 4 titles namely in the territory of that country.
Bellucci became the second Latin from ATP with a title this year. Before him, it made Pablo Cuevas, who won the race in Sao Paulo. For the success today Bellucci needed an hour and 34 minutes.
